I have been in awe with this bag ever since I first saw it featured in a Free People pin on Pinterest. Knowing this brand and its prices I assumed it had to be fairly expense. I was surprised to see the later that month that the Dreamweaver Crossbody Bag from Free People cost only $168, which I label a deal considering the brand and material. Yet, I was still determined to find a similar bag for a lower price without sacrificing quality. It has taken me a little while but I have finally found a budget friendly alternative and you would never guess where I found it!
The answer is Etsy.com! If you have never heard of Etsy before, it is an online market for artist all over the world to sell their hand-made or antique goods. There are over 5 different sellers that sell very similar bags to the Dreamweaver Crossbody from Free People. I have narrowed it down to my two top shops based on quality and price. The first Aureus Art is based out of Indonesia and also sells hand carved skulls and bone. The second is Etnikabali is based in Indonesia also but is known for beautiful headdresses. The great things about the both of these shops is the variety in color and size! It is impossible to choose my favorite, but have managed to pick a few beauties featured above. Etsy is an awesome way to support local and handmade goodies and in this case the best way of getting your boho dose without breaking the wallet (or breaking it less than Free People)!
